Months ago, Armenian Public Television presented its viewers an hours-long concert, which was aimed at providing charity and assistance to improve the lives and lifestyles of children living in orphanages. The television stations, the program's producers and organizers all gathered around the same idea.
Until midnight, all the hosts of Public Television, as well as artists, actors, well-known and favored singers, joined the station's loyal viewers in inviting people to join the big holiday: Charity for Children.
Instead of sending an unnecessary text message, viewers text messaged the word "infant."
As was previously announced, all the proceedings from "We Are With You" Charity Concert were given to Kharberd Orphanage. The children living here have special needs and helping them was a public need and desire.
The unusual stir in Public TV's first pavilion was not incidental. Members of Armenia's show business did not come empty-handed. Aside from inviting people to send text messages, bringing gifts was necessary.
With the initiative of the First and all the mentioned artists' help, this charity program called for the improvement of Kharberd Orphanage's living conditions, and for organizing the children's leisure time.
The Orphanage has about 280 children, who all need special care. The Orphanage works with state funds. One of the main concerns of the Orphanage today is the accommodation of its adolescents. Issues with living conditions no longer exist. The funds from the Charity Concert are enough to also organize the children's summer activities.
The funds were gathered and sent to Kharberd Orphanage immediately following the Concert.
Public Television's charity initiatives will be continued.
In the coming hours, you can join this initiative and help support the special needs of the children at Kharberd Orphanage by sending text messages.
